Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) wanted a consumer facing app that leveraged its strategic position in the marketplace as a $90 billion financial processor to 40,000 travel agencies in the US. ARC wanted to position themselves as a technological innovator. But they had never built an app, or even offered a consumer product before. CTM Holdings helped them define their strategic objectives and their capabilities, and align them with the consumer travel app opportunities, to define a groundbreaking new app that combined the traveler's itinerary booked by the agency with travel service offers that generate revenue for ARC and the agency. Then CTM prototyped and validated the app concept with travel agencies, and program managed its development and 2015 launch. The result was a white labeled consumer itinerary app, distributed by ARC's travel agency customers to their millions of travelers, that offers travelers services like tours and car service to purchase along their trip. The app leapfrogged the consumer features of the established app competitors, while offering the travel agencies a way to get closer to their customers again while they were on their journey.
Adobe Systems wanted a compelling app based on their Flash programming language. They turned to CTM Holdings which conceived, designed, developed, and launched the mileBlaster app for iOS, Android, Symbian as well as the web version. mileBlaster is the frequent traveler program member's best friend. The app keeps track of all the different program account numbers, award totals, progress towards travel and elite status goals, and alerts the user when their miles expirations are upcoming. The app won numerous awards including Travel+Leisure Best Travel Websites & Apps for 2011 AND 2013 and the Wall Street Journal / Global Business Travel Association Innovation Finalist 2011 and the Adobe Open Screen Project 2010.
mTROTTER needed to strategically position their mobile offering with the global suppliers of travel technology to be seen as a viable candidate for their initiatives. CTM identified attributes for mTROTTER to emphasize and add to their product and product messaging, and then showcased the mTROTTER product to their target customers. This resulted in mTROTTER being short listed with the leading providers of online travel and systems worldwide, gaining the traction that they needed in the marketplace.
